Shen Guide
Tips for Playing Against Shen
- -His abilities are pretty dodgable, which is the main way to win. Dodge his E (taunt) if you can, dodge his Q, as it makes his auto attacks do even more %HP damage than it does if he misses it.
- -Try to slow push into his tower so he can never ult, and if he does ult and you don't wanna W onto him then you can just shove the wave and he misses a lot of resources, while you gain minion gold and exp, and perhaps tower plates. His waveclear is bad too, so this isn't always difficult.
- -Grasp + Q trade when you can, but be careful if he has abilities up and especially if you don't have control of the wave, as his W shield can win him a nice grasp trade.
- -Sometimes I like to pretend to back, and then sit in a bush and wait for him to ult, and then I W onto him cancelling it. If he's somewhat under his tower, I still sometimes do it right at the edge of my W and then ghost away if it's safe enough.

Good Items to Use Against Shen

Bami's Cinder
Bami's items are a nice consideration (Hollow Radiance or Sunfire Cape), as you can push faster, meaning he can lose more and you can gain more when he ults.

Redemption
Redemption is nice against tanks, as it does 10% max HP true damage and is cheap, but you do sacrifice being able to kill squishies with Heartsteel, or push waves fast with a Bami's item.

Heartsteel is perfectly fine, and I'd consider building it second item if you don't build it first. I think Shen is useful no matter what, and is a bit hard to build against as TK, so you might wanna consider the rest of the map. Also, Merc Treads is nice vs Shen, but I much prefer Swifties, and think it's probably better.
