Gnar Guide

Tips for Playing Against Gnar

-Personally, this one is a struggle for me. I think it's a lane where you wanna play safe.
-It's hard to ever get a Q W combo on him, but if his jump is down you can usually at least burn his flash and maybe catch him. That being said, it's kinda hard to even hit a Q on him in mini form.
-I think fighting him in mega form might be the move if you're in a health spot to do so, and not near a wall where he can obliterate you. His W in mini form does percent max health damage, and he can escape easily.
-Having enough minions on your side might help, so that if he autos you he takes caster damage, but I think it can be hard to get lane control, and sometimes risky too.

Heartsteel

The usual Heartsteel is great, and I think if you don't die early you can beat him if he messes up with his jump!
Iceborn Gauntlet

I think Iceborn is probably really good here. I haven't tried it really yet, but would like to. It probably helps with survivability and chasing him down.
Plated Steelcaps

Tabi is probably good against Gnar when behind or even in general, but I like swifties and usually stick with that. Perhaps Tabi is theoretically the move though? Not sure.
